I remember seeing this beautiful 2000 GT at an exhibition in Geneva. The car is apparently used every day, and given its value and rarity, I take my hat off to the owner/driver.
The 2000 GT revolutionized the automotive world's view of Japan, then viewed as a producer of plain, practical cars. As a sleek, high-performance fastback coupé, the 2000 GT demonstrated that Japanese car makers could produce sports cars to rival the better marques of Europe.
