On social networks, a quite famous Datsun 240Z. It belongs to BenAutos, excellent YouTuber based in France.

After having seen the car in several videos, it was very nice to see the car - in real life and in action - on the banked track at the Coupes Auto Légende this week-end in Montlhéry. And, I confirm, on the track: Ben and his friends really use the car. Thanks, guys.

"Un grand pilote qui a du goût. Merci M. Jean-Claude Andruet." During the week-end, famous, French rally and Le Mans driver Jean-Claude Andruet attended the Coupes Auto Légende.

Apparently, his daily car is a Peugeot 406 Coupé, like I said, a great pilot with taste. Thanks.

Only powerful cars can reach the highest point of the banking between the two chicanes in Montlhéry. For example a well-prepared 911. The slope is more than 50 degrees, i.e. around 120%... Crazy.

The banked oval was finished in 1924, a year later a road circuit enlarged the available lap distance to ca. 8 miles. And because night-time running was forbidden at Brooklands, Montlhéry became famous for the setting of speed and endurance records in the next decades.

By the way, do you like movies? Yes. Watch "Un homme et une femme" filmed by Claude Lelouch, 1966, and in particular the performance of Jean-Louis Trintignant with a Mustang and a GT40. So great.
